BOWIE, Md. – The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is offering an in-person Advanced Hands-On Earthmover Tire Service (ETS) training class Dec. 13 - 16 in Brooksville, Fla. Don’t miss out on the last class of 2022.
Targeted at earthmover tire technicians, the class offers comprehensive hands-on training using a service truck, hydraulic tools and a variety of equipment that can aid technicians in servicing tires.
Topics covered include: Service Truck Operation; Preventative Maintenance Training (service truck, crane, compressor, etc.); Site Preparation and Equipment; Hydraulic Tool Operation & Maintenance; Service One-, Three- and Five-Piece (on machine and loose); Wheel & Rim Fastening Systems; and Wheel Inspection.
Class sessions will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays through Thursdays and 8:00 a.m. through noon on Fridays. Students successfully completing a final exam will receive a Certificate of Completion.
