BOWIE, Md. — The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is soliciting ads, including congratulatory ads, for a special issue of Today’s Tire Industry (TTI) magazine that will be focused entirely on the association’s iconic 100-year history.
The keepsake issue, which is scheduled for publication in October 2020, will feature stories on the association’s fascinating history from its founding 100 years ago as the National Tire Dealers Association, to its merger with the International Tire & Rubber Association, to today. The magazine also will cover the history of TIA’s training programs and government affairs efforts, provide a timeline of important milestones, feature interviews with past association executives and more. Advertisers are invited to be a part of this keepsake issue by placing a congratulatory advertisement saluting the association on its 100th anniversary.
“We are excited about producing this special commemorative issue and sharing it with our members and the industry,” said TIA CEO Roy Littlefield. “The history of the association mirrors that of the U.S. tire industry. The issue should be a fascinating read.”
