Bowie, Md. – The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is reminding interested individuals that May 1, 2015 is the deadline for nomination for service on the 2015-2016 TIA Board of Directors. TIA Board Directors serve for three-year terms and may be re-elected to serve two additional, three-year terms.
Any TIA member in good standing or an official representative of an industry association may recommend candidates to the nominating committee in accordance with the TIA bylaws. Self-nominations are also welcome.
Positions on the TIA Board are open to all TIA members who have been a member in good standing for two consecutive years, including manufacturers, independent tire dealers, wholesale distributors, suppliers, recyclers and retreaders.
All nominations should be submitted by completing and returning the TIA Board of Directors nomination form by 5:00 p.m. (EDT) on May 1, 2015 to be considered.
