TIA tracks state legislation impacting tire dealers and the tire industry and provides an Interactive Map allowing members to search for legislation in their own marketing areas. TIA works with state tire dealer associations, tire manufacturers, the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association and related industry associations to stay current on pertinent state issues.
TIA has tracked several thousand industry-related bills over the years and reports on more than 250 of them considered critical via the Interactive Map. Keeping members up-to-date on legislative allows TIA to mobilize grassroots efforts on the state level and has helped the association successfully defeat harmful legislation or support positive legislation being considered in a variety of states.
